Jewellery Retailer of the Year for 2007
Burleigh Showcase Jewellers has recently been awarded the Showcase Australian Jewellery Retailer of the Year for 2007.
Store Owner, Catherine Pevy-Trewartha was competing against over 250 stores across the nation for the award. Catherine’s passion for the jewellery industry and striving to be the best store, resulted in her also receiving the Member Recognition Award for 2007 for her contribution to Showcase Jewellers Australia.
Catherine has been the Operator at Stockland Burleigh Heads for six years and has 30 years experience in the jewellery industry.
“The award recognition came as a surprise, essentially when competing with larger stores, and is extremely rewarding for her team,” she said.
The criteria for judging of the Retailer of the Year incorporated customer service, store merchandising, staff performance, participation in marketing and advertising and purchasing from both national and international wholesalers and importers.
Stockland Burleigh Heads Centre Management have also recognised the attributes of Catherine and her team by awarding Burleigh Showcase Jewellers with Retailer of the Month for June 2007 and the Stockland Excellence in Marketing award for 2006.
Stockland Burleigh Heads marketing manager, Alexa Arnott, said “this is a wonderful accolade achieved by Burleigh Showcase Jewellers and is indicative of the high caliber of Retailers at the shopping centre.”
