Already a valuable part of our history, the coins reflect Australia ’s pre-decimal currency era between the years 1910 and 1963.
- The sixpence was not minted in 1913,1915,1929,1930,1931, 1932,1933,1947 and 1949.
- The florin was not minted in 1929,1930,1937,1948,1949,1950 and 1955,however all other florin and sixpence coins are available in the year of your choice.
Pre-decimal coins feature the Australian Coat of Arms together with the year of minting. Our kangaroo and emu were chosen for this design because neither can walk backward representing the slogan, Advance Australia.
Each coin featured has its own story to tell after being in circulation for many years. This charm is highlighted by the slight imperfections which show on some coins, making each timepiece unique and a real collectors item.
Each coin is first ‘diamond blasted’ to clean and redefine the classic design, then plated silver to resemble the original finish.
Australian government approval has allowed us to mint a Commemorative Medallion with the Coat of Arms design resembling the florin and sixpence coins. Your choice of year is engraved into the medallion providing even greater personalisation for a true family heirloom.
The wrist watch collection ranges from classic brown and black straps in anti-allergenic leather,to stainless steel bracelets in gold, silver or bi-tone finish.
